Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the administrative activities within the company. Coordinates payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable at the branch level. Responsibilities:1. Responsible for managing the overall smooth operation of the office environment2. Responsible for managing of office supplies, office equipment, related service agreements, and vendor relations ensuring competitive pricing and quality products and services 3. Supervise and coordinate activities of administrative staff ensuring appropriate phone and front office coverage4. Conduct orientation program for new team members and new hire paperwork5. Assists in maintaining and updating company related documents.6. Administer payroll according to company payroll schedule ensuring timely distribution of staff payroll7. Track team member vacation and personal time8. Responsible for accounts payable credits, purchasing, sub-contract invoices and accounts receivable (invoicing and collections) for company9. Maintain accuracy in the accounting system10. As required, be able to assist in the budget process and manage income and expenses according to the budget11. Sales commissions12. Job insurance and bonds13. Building maintenance14. Billing projections15. Updating change orders16. Closing Jobs17. Maintain petty cash and branch check book18. Maintain critical inventory list in accounting system19. Responsible for determination of self-directed development and training20. Other duties as required or assigned by company management Qualifications: The Office Manager shall have a minimum of a two-year degree from an accredited college or university with course work in accounting. A minimum of two years related work experience is desirable. The Office Manager should possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Additional Skills and Abilities: 1. Must be able to effectively handle stressful situations.9. Must be able to read and effectively interpret general business documentation. 10. Valid and current drivers license.11. Must have or apply to be a Notary Public in Tennessee upon hire.
